This contest is open to all Chamber Members and Non-profit organizations ONLY in the Central Steuben Area. You may become a member by going to https://www.centralsteubenchamber.com/join

SET UP- Trees will be available to start decorating on Saturday, November 29th (Time TBD). You must be set up by Thursday Evening, December 4th at 5:00pm, when the light test will occur.

YOU MAY USE LED lights ONLY - any type of LEDs will be fine. We recommend 4-5 strings per tree. This includes any tree topper

Use Waterproof Decorations. (water soluble glue will disintegrate during the rainy weather)

Secure your Decorations with Zips ties, pipe cleaners, string or other ties. The weather is unpredictable and non-secured decorations will get blown off your tree.

A sign will be provided and displayed for you. NO EXTRA SIGNS OR BANNERS ARE ALLOWED

You must provide One 25 foot outdoor-rated extension cord. (Label with your name and place under your tree).

If you bring small children with you remember to teach them to respect others trees. If your child is caught vandalizing (accident or intentionally) another’s tree you will be charged accordingly and will lose your privilege of decorating with no refund.

PETS must be on a leash and stay within your area. So not to leave any unwanted poop or urine in the area

The Central Steuben Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for any damage or theft to your tree. If you see any destruction or theft occurring call the Police Department.

TAKE DOWN- You must remove all your decorations and lights between January 2nd and 5th, 2025. If they are not removed by January 5th everything will be thrown away and you will be charged a $25 removal fee.

Festival Of Lights Waiver

Shall indemnify and hold harmless the Central Steuben Chamber of Commerce, The Village Of Bath, Spirit Of Christmas, sponsors, or their officials and employees from any and all loss, cost(including reasonable attorney fees and court costs), damages, expense and liability arising from the Festival Of Trees event. The Central Steuben Chamber of Commerce accepts no liability for any actions that may arise. Any insurance protection which may be necessary for accidental injury or property damage during the event is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
