Festival of Lights Tree Contest involves the display of live Christmas trees in Pulteney Park in the Village of Bath.

Our goal is 30 beautifully decorated trees and lots of new Christmas decor. In the effort to promote community, each tree will be sponsored by a local corporation, group, non-profit or business.  

Sponsoring a tree is a great way to market your business, boost employee morale, and just be creative.  Tree sponsorships are available for $75 which offsets the costs of the tree, durable stand, and maintenance.  The organization name will be displayed on an attractive sign that is placed beside the tree.

Trees are scheduled to be available for decorating Saturday, November 28th after 1pm up until December 3rd at 5pm. 

The lighting of the trees will occur on December 4th at the Spirit of Christmas, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Lighting Countdown will commence at 6:15 p.m)and be illuminated 24 hours a day through January 1, 2027.  

People can vote online for their category of awards:

• People’s Choice – Best of Show, Determined by Popular Vote on Facebook – Top Three will receive Prizes.
